What is Search Engine Algorithm?

In a computer search algorithm is essentially an algorithm for finding an element with the specified properties from a collection of objects. Articles can be saved individually as records in a database, or may be elements of a search space defined by a mathematical formula or procedure, like the roots of an equation with integer variables or a combination of both as the Hamiltonian circuits of a graph.

How Search Engine Algorithm works?

Search engines are the key to finding specific information on the vast World Wide Web. Without sophisticated search engines would be virtually impossible to locate anything on the Web without knowing a specific URL. But you know how search engines work? And you know what makes some search engines more effective than others?
When people use the term search engine on the Internet, they usually refer to real forms of research that searches the databases of HTML documents that were originally collected by a robot.
There are basically three types of search engines: Those that are powered by robots (called crawlers, spiders or ants) and those that are powered by human observations, and those that are a hybrid of two.
Crawler based search engines are those that use automated software agents (called crawlers) that visit the website, read the information about the real world, read site meta tags and also follow the links to the site combine to make the indexing of all affiliated websites, as well. Crawler returns all that information to the central depository, where the data is indexed. The crawler will periodically return to the sites to check all the details that have changed. How often this happens depends on search engine maintenance.
